The New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA) is a New York State-approved Continuing Education Provider for Licensed Mental Health Counselors. By purchasing and participating in the workshops below, you can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that will count towards renewing your New York State license, further develop your skills as a professional, and provide vital support to NYMHCA.

The NY State Education Department is allowing all continuing education presentations to be considered “live” until January 2023, due to the pandemic. After that, recorded CEU presentations can only be used for 12 of the 36 CEUs needed for the 3-year license renewal period.

NYMHCA is a non-profit, advocacy organization representing the clinical counselors of New York State. Our continuing role is to protect and enhance the rights of counselors to practice our profession. All proceeds from the promotion of these presentations will go to NYMHCA’s advocacy and legislative efforts.
